All positions require a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree; and advanced degree is preferred,

a minimum of two years experience in your field of expertise (sales,delivering/developing interactive adult training in a business environment [preferably computer software training]), and

a strong background in Windows, Office 97, consulting, time management, and project reporting.

Additional knowledge and skill that is helpful would be one or more years' experience in one or more of the following:

  • coursework or proven experience as needed by a particular project in web-related topics,
  • use of Information Mapping techniques,
  • courseware development,
  • training,
  • Web page design and development, Web content development,
  • online help development,
  • CBT,
  • EPSS or multimedia design/development,

Responsible for selling Pro-ductivity Systems software products and services within North America using telephone, e-mail and other forms of customer communication; and for meeting and exceeding the assigned sales and revenue quota.
The Sales Support Representative will help improve the productivity of and revenue generated by the sales organization. The successful candidate will accomplish this objective through increasing the quality and quantity of contacts, prospects and leads at every stage of the sales funnel. As a result of this individual’s efforts, the sales team will be able to spend more of their time on high value selling activities focused on qualified leads who have a compelling reason to buy our products in a pre-determined timeframe, an approved budget for the purchase of technology and services, a process for making the purchase decision and identified decision makers who can execute a purchase when the decision has been made.
Duties and Responsibilities and desired attributes:

  • Hunter / Farmer: Both
  • Vertical industries: Pharmaceutial, Industrial, any ISO, HIPAA and FDA or other training compliance oriented industry
  • Territory: US
  • Promote the sales of company products and services through direct solicitation via telephone and the internet;
  • Create and track results of lead generation campaigns;
  • Outbound calling to find prospects;
  • Confident, cold calling skills ;
  • Qualify to agreed level before passing to sales
  • Follow up on leads generated and provided;
  • Communicate effectively in oral and written form;
  • Use effective interpersonal communication techniques;

Related Experience/Skills Required:
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of outbound telesales or direct sales experience

  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office; ACT2000 is desirable

  • Hi-Tech/software industry sales experience preferred

  • Candidates should be able to pick up on technical aspects of the position quickly in order to present to the user base confidently and in a timely manner.

A Business Developer is responsible to identify new business opportunities in the target market of a particular vertical industry and Human Resources/Training/Information Technology professionals for our software products and services. The successful candidate will have information collection and analysis skills. Compensation is arranged either as part of an on-the-job training program or commission basis. The successful candidate will perform and possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

    Background to include 3 - 5 years document development experience, in both paper and online reference/help systems. Intranet/Internet documentation development experience needed. Knowledge of Information Mapping's technique is preferred.

    Under general supervision, designs electronic and printed materials, exhibit elements, and/or illustrations for a variety of publications, displays, and other media, as appropriate.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Conceptualizes, designs, and produces curriculum, training, and/or promotional materials such as flyers, ads, brochures, logos, office signage, exhibits, and/or displays.
    2. Designs and produces camera-ready art including graphs, charts, clip art, posters, digitization of graphics, line-art, and/or photos.
    3. Creates electronically-designed page layouts and imports word processing files into page layouts, as appropriate to the position; may develop and produce web-based graphics, as requested.
    4. Able to resize .jpg files for thumbnail and enlarged photos (results having clarity and integrity); recolor and sharpen or touch up electronic graphic files; knowledge of various electronic graphic file formats; able to convert formats and retain image clarity.
    5. Produces technical and scientific illustrations for presentations and/or publication, as appropriate to the requirements of the position.
    6. Consults with customers and staff to identify their graphics needs, budget constraints, and reasonable deadlines for the project; serves as a liaison between the client and printers/publishers.
    7. Coordinates the printing production process to ensure quality: writes printing and other reproduction specifications (selects ink, paper, and print quality); inspects proofs for accuracy; recommends contractors (typesetters, printers, illustrators, photographers, cartographers).
    8. Writes and edits basic copy, as appropriate, which may include press releases in some instances.
    9. May coordinate a graphics or photographic library and/or maintain digital records.
    10. May provide technical computer support and install software programs.
    11. May coordinate and lead the work of others.
    12. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
    13. Optional plus: Basic knowledge of web technology such as HTML for understanding of how and where web graphics will display on a web page.

    MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    Vocational / technical training with 3 to 5 years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
    • Knowledge of principles and practices of graphic design.
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
    • Ability to create and produce graphic materials using a range of media, methods, techniques, and equipment.

    DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS:

    Position requires: a) Creating and designing printed materials, exhibit elements and/or illustrations; b) creating electronically designed page layouts; c) producing camera-ready art; d) consulting with customers and staff to identify their graphic needs, including budget and project deadlines; and e) writing and editing basic copy in the completion of media projects.

    WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

    • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
    • No or very limited physical effort required.
    • No or very limited exposure to physical risk.

    The Project Manager is responsible for managing engagements with customers on a day-to-day basis.  This includes creation of project plans, designs strategies, curricula, and specific designs.  The Project Manager also ensures that the project team's output conforms to the design in a quality manner, and that this is consistent with the needs and expectations of the client.

    Key responsibilities include:

    Quality and Communications

    The Project Manager is responsible to the client for deliverables that meet or exceeds their needs and expectations within the budget and timeline provided.  To do this the Project Manager will:

    • establish and communicate a project plan to the client at the start of each project, and provide regular updates against the plan to the client
    • work with the Business Unit Manager to manage the client's expectations throughout the project
    • serve as lead designer and ensure that all materials delivered to  the client conform to the design and meet quality standards, and
    • review project team members' work and provide feedback as appropriate.

Financials

The Project Manager is responsible to IMI to ensure that the project is delivered within the budget and timeline and that the staff utilization is maximized.  To do this the Project Manager will:

  • participate in sales calls as requested by the Business Unit Manager and Sales Management
  • estimate the costs of projects
  • provide the Business Unit Manager with regular forecasts of project revenues
  • provide the Business Unit Manager with regular forecasts of staff utilization and availability.

Staff

The Project Manager is responsible for the performance of his/her team.  Consequently, s/he will work with the Business Unit Manager to ensure that each project is staffed with a team that can provide the client with quality deliverables.

The Project manager is responsible for providing project-based mentoring for project team members, and non-project mentoring for Designer/Developers in the same group.

Qualifications include:

  • 3 years previous experience managing or supervising employees and projects
  • excellent client management skills
  • skilled in completing projects on time and within budget
  • ability to motivate a team
  • 3-5 years instructional design and development; mediated instruction; or document development, paper, Web or on-line.
  • basic knowledge of how business and business finance works.
  • strong critical thinking/analytical skills.
  • BS degree required, MA or MBA preferred
